Cotton production uses 3% of the world’s farmland but 25% of the world’s chemical pesticides. That’s up to 37 chemicals, 7 of which are carcinogenic.
At threadme, we use cotton that is grown with natural fertilizers and is free from toxic chemicals wherever possible. Sadly, our organic cotton won't stop millions being displaced from their lands to make way for large monoculture plantations, but it will stop that land being suffocated by chemicals.
